3D Walkthroughs

Interactive 3D spaces that open in a browser — no plugin, no app to download.

A 3D walkthrough lets someone move through a space on their own terms — turn around, look up, step into the next room — without travelling to it, and without the space necessarily existing yet.

We build these as web applications, not as downloads. The walkthrough opens in a browser on a phone or a laptop, loads in seconds, and lives inside your product alongside the listing, the availability and the enquiry form. That distinction matters: a tour that sits behind a third-party link is a dead end, while one built into the page is part of how someone decides.

The engineering is mostly in what you cannot see — reducing geometry without losing the detail that makes a space read correctly, compressing textures, and holding a frame rate on an ordinary mid-range phone rather than on a workstation.

How we approach it

  1. 01

    Understand the decision

What the viewer is trying to decide, and on which device they will decide it. That sets the fidelity budget for everything after.

  2. 02

    Prepare the model

Geometry from CAD, BIM, scans or renders — cleaned and reduced for the web without losing the detail that makes a space read correctly.

  3. 03

    Build in the browser

A WebGL scene with navigation, hotspots and overlays, built as part of your application rather than bolted onto it.

  4. 04

    Hold a performance budget

Load time, memory and frame rate measured on ordinary mid-range phones, not on a workstation.

  5. 05

    Connect it to the product

Wired into listings, availability, pricing and enquiry forms, so a walkthrough leads somewhere.

  6. 06

    Keep it current

A defined way to update the model as the building, the unit mix or the product changes.

Problems this solves

  • Photographs and floor plans do not convey space — people cannot tell how a building will feel until they stand in it.
  • Site visits are slow and expensive, and often impossible for a buyer in another country.
  • A building that has not been built yet cannot be photographed at all.
  • Most 3D tours are heavy, load slowly, and lose people on a mid-range phone.
  • Visualisation usually sits outside the product — a separate link, disconnected from listings, availability and enquiry forms.
