Privacy Policy

Draft — the practices below describe how this website actually works today. Have it reviewed by counsel before treating it as your final published policy.

Who is responsible

YSS Borkar Pvt. Ltd. (“YSS Borkar”) operates this website and decides how the personal data described here is used. We are based in Goa, India. For anything on this page, write to contact@yoursoftwaresupplierborkar.com.

[Add the registered company address and registration number before publishing.]

What we collect, and why

The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to type into the contact form: your name, work email, company name, what you need help with, your project stage, and your message. We use it for one purpose — to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Our web server also records ordinary technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser user agents, which are used to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no embedded third-party media. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a third-party font service, so simply reading these pages sends your data to nobody else.

WordPress sets a session cookie only if someone signs in to the site’s administration area. That does not apply to ordinary visitors, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

If we ever add analytics or a third-party embed, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before switching it on.

Where your data goes

Enquiries are stored on this website and emailed to us. Our team works from India, so if you contact us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your message is read outside those areas. India is not covered by an EU adequacy decision, so for client engagements we agree an appropriate transfer mechanism and data-processing terms in writing before any of your data is handled.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards only while there is a genuine reason to — for example an ongoing commercial relationship. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to us and we will action it.

If you are in the EEA or UK and think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
